DESCRIPTION:We are getting ready for summer at Camp Chula Vista! \nAre you joining us this year? \n  \nIf you or someone you know are interested in serving as a counselor at CCV this summer\, please begin by completing the online application. Applicants must be 21 years old to serve at Junior and Senior High camps\, 18 years old to serve at Primary and Intermediate camps\, or 16 years old to serve as a junior counselor at Primary and Intermediate camps. Applicants over 18 must pass a background check\, and all applicants must have a pastoral recommendation. \n  \nCounselors will be contacted by the directors of the camps and will have a Zoom meeting with the director and other counselors approximately one month before camp. \n  \nAdditionally\, all counselors must participate in training. We have some options: \n\n\nIn person counselor training and camp work day at Camp Chula Vista\, May 6\, 9am – 2pm.  \n\n\nOnline video training. Returning counselors are required to watch the first two training videos. New counselors must watch all videos. He is the teaching pastor of  Cornerstone Christian Fellowship\, a healthy small church in Orange County\, California\, where he has ministered for over 28 years with his wife\, Shelley.
